Un Canadien errant,
Banni de ses foyers,
Parcourait en pleurant
Des pays étrangers.

Un jour, triste et pensif,
Assis au bord des flots,
Au courant fugitif
Il adressa ces mots:

"Si tu vois mon pays,
Mon pays malheureux,
Va, dis à mes amis
Que je me souviens d'eux.

"Ô jours si pleins d'appas
Vous êtes disparus,
Et ma patrie, hélas!
Je ne la verrai plus!

"Non, mais en expirant,
Ô mon cher Canada!
Mon regard languissant

I am bewildered today by what I  observe as the tendency for conservative catholics to sell-out the church by simply agreeing to the latest news on sexual misconduct and failures of leadership it seems almost everyone capitulates as if to say o of course it's true it's been reported now it can't be false it can't be fake news no way and then they speak about it all as if it's a done deal it happened we're guilty...it is amazing...does anyone stop to consider that possibly you're capitulating to the devil...the devil succeeds with every affirmation of the report...only bill Donohue seems amongst the spokespersons out there only he seems to say there needs be some honesty here there needs be a sense of fairness...only Donohue seems to know we must weigh the force of evil for what it is...I cannot help but surmise that the church is being castigated for what she believes and holds as good...she stands for an integrity that is far superior to the ideals promulgated by anti-church atheistic ideologues...and thus there is this rage against her...the culture of death is screaming blood


on this feast of the exaltation of the cross I simply pray with our lord forgive them for they know not what they do
