I was familiar with Adele's version of this song, but didn't know til now that it was written by Bob Dylan.
youtube reveals that lots of people have covered that song
I honestly knew nothing about it
and i don't remember how I stumbled onto it
probably by surfing the youtube wave
.....
actually I just remembered
I was listening to an interview of bishop Robert barron
of LA on youtube
a bob Dylanophile
and he mentioned this song as having profound spiritual overtones
suggesting that it is indeed metaphorical language of god's love for us....
